Messy Girls!

I'd like you to meet a friend of mine

a friend who's been with us

every festival,

every stock take,

every high and low of Sexy Bookshop life:

My messy friend is one of Charles Gatewood's Messy Girls.

And the one copy we have in stock is the very same copy that arrived with our first stock order 4 years ago.

And I don't get it - all that frolicking with the messy stuff - what's not to like?

But I've tried everything:

* It's been displayed prominently at every fair and expo we've been to

* I've included lots of photo's on the website (in case it was unclear, just how much fun these women are having).

* I've paraded it in front of every lesbian and straight man and woman I can find,

* And if that isn't enough, I've reduced the cover price, at times to crazy low levels;

but still, Messy Girls remains, composed and dignified on our shelves

waiting, waiting

... unaware that she's now out of print and fast becoming a collectors item.

This is their last opportunity of finding a home

before they slide off our shelves and retire for all time

to my personal reading collection.

In the coming weeks I'm going to introduce you to a man named Don.

Don is a guy who knows about relationship and sexuality stuff; and in my opinion, his knowledge and understanding of human health and happiness is second to none.

(A big statement I know, but stay tuned and you'll see what I mean).
